What’s academic advising like? Will I actually get to meet with my advisor?

Yes, you'll know your advisor.

You’ll definitely meet one-on-one with your advisor. You’ll have a special advisor your first year at Lynchburg who will keep you on track and answer your questions.

Once you declare a major, you’ll be assigned an advisor who works within that discipline. Some students — double majors and/or Westover Honors Fellows — may have more than one academic advisor. If you choose to minor in a subject, you can have an advisor from that department as well.
