Can I get academic and writing support?

Yes. The Alton L. Wilmer Writing Center offers writing assistance, provided by qualified tutors, to students free of charge. Students can receive help on papers at any stage of the writing process — from planning to proofreading to organizing a bibliography. 

Lynchburg also offers other types of academic support, from individual peer tutoring in a specific subject area to help with time management and study skills.
